A Simple, Biblical Pathway for Following Jesus

At Freedom Bible Church, discipleship isn’t a program you sign up for—it’s the normal Christian life.

Jesus didn’t call us to attend events. He called us to follow Him, grow in Him, and help others do the same. That’s why we’ve built a clear, intentional Discipleship Pathway that helps people move from gathering on Sundays to growing in community, maturing in Christ, and living on mission.

Our pathway isn’t complicated. It’s biblical, relational, and sustainable.

Gather → Equip → Circles → Mission

Each step builds on the one before it. You don’t “graduate” from one and move on forever—you grow deeper and wider as God matures you.

GATHER

Worshiping Together as the Body of Christ

Everything begins with the gathered church.

When we gather on Sundays, we:

  • Sit under the preaching of God’s Word

  • Worship Christ together, practicing the regulative principle

  • Pray, sing, confess, and celebrate the gospel

  • Encourage one another as one body

Sunday worship isn’t optional add-on Christianity. It’s the primary rhythm of the Christian life (Hebrews 10:24–25).

Gathering fuels everything else.

EQUIP

Growing in Biblical and Doctrinal Depth

Equip exists to help believers grow in biblical understanding and spiritual maturity.

Through Equip we focus on:

  • Learning how to read and understand the Bible

  • Growing in sound doctrine

  • Applying Scripture to everyday life

  • Being equipped for ministry and discipleship

Equip helps move people from spectators to students—from consuming content to growing in wisdom.

CIRCLES

Intentional, Relational Discipleship

Circles are the backbone of discipleship at Freedom.

Circles are:

  • Small, same-gender discipleship groups (men with men, women with women)

  • Built around Scripture, prayer, accountability, and life-on-life relationships

  • Designed to last for a season, not forever

  • Focused on multiplication—making disciples who make disciples

Circles aren’t therapy groups or casual hangouts. They are intentional relationships aimed at spiritual growth and obedience to Christ (2 Timothy 2:2; Titus 2).

This is where discipleship gets personal.

MISSION

Living Sent and Making Disciples

Discipleship doesn’t stop with us—it spills outward.

Mission means:

  • Living as witnesses for Christ in everyday life

  • Serving the church and the community

  • Supporting and engaging in local and global missions

  • Making disciples wherever God has placed you

We don’t disciple people away from mission. We disciple people for mission.

How the Pathway Works Together

  • Gather grounds us in worship and the Word

  • Equip strengthens us with truth and understanding

  • Circles shape us through intentional relationships

  • Mission sends us out to live on purpose

This pathway is designed to be simple, repeatable, and transferable.

Where Do I start?

Start where you are—and take the next step.

  • New to Freedom? Start by Gathering on Sundays.

  • Ready to grow deeper? Plug into Equip.

  • Looking for intentional discipleship? Join a Circle.

  • Want to live on mission? We’ll help you take that step too.

Discipleship is a journey, not a straight line—and you don’t walk it alone.
