The “church” is not a building, a denomination, or a business—it’s a family of believers walking through life together as disciples of Jesus.

Small groups offer the opportunity to experience this spiritual family in a meaningful way. Within the context of a small group, you’ll build deep relationships in a safe and welcoming environment. You’ll be accepted as you are while being encouraged to grow into the person God has called you to be. These groups provide discipleship, care, and opportunities to serve others, creating a vibrant community that reflects the love of Christ.

At Freedom, we believe spiritual growth happens best in community. That’s why we encourage everyone to join one of our small groups. We offer two types of small groups: Community Groups, which meet in homes to foster relationships and apply God’s Word to daily life, and Growth Groups, which are semester-based and focus on spiritual disciplines and other practical topics.

Both types of groups are environments where you’ll feel welcome and valued, encounter Christ and His Word, and grow as a disciple who makes disciples.

COMMUNITY GROUPS

Community Groups are small gatherings that meet in homes across our community to foster meaningful relationships and spiritual growth. Each group focuses on applying God’s Word to daily life using sermon-based studies. Members are encouraged to engage in weekly Bible study, connect socially with their group, and serve together in the community. These groups are designed to help you grow in Christ while building genuine community with others.

GROWTH GROUPS

Growth Groups are short-term, semester-based gatherings held on our church campus during specific seasons. These groups dive deep into topics like our confession of faith, spiritual disciplines, and other practical studies to help you grow in your understanding of God’s Word and your walk with Christ. Throughout the year, we also offer men’s and women’s Growth Groups tailored to address unique challenges and opportunities in their spiritual journey.
